Makeup Look for Fall 2014

Etude House Collagen Moistful First Essence

I have finally finished using this moisturizing essence and I feel the need to review about it to let my readers know of it's goodness!

With a glass bottle containing 100ml at RM 70-80, this is amazing! It really moisturises the skin so well that I could see a difference. It helps my skin with an extra glow and radiance which makes me look a lot healthier and using it before makeup application helps in a nice satin glow finish.

I have super duper oily skin and this did not makes it any worst, so no worries! With only 2-3 drops pat onto your face with warm hands and you are good to go.

And the price is really reasonable considering the size of the bottle as if you buy any other brand of the same size it will cost you so much more. Besides, EH has BUY 1 FREE 1 throughout the weekends of August, so it is a great excuse for you to get them!

For the cons, its a pretty heavy bottle so it is not travel friendly.

Proven Ways To Reduce Bacnes

I have been suffering from Bacnes ever since I was in my Secondary School years and  the problem has made more depressed than ever. I could not wear sleeveless or any clothes that bares my back. After so many years and trying out products after products I am happy and proud to say that I have eliminate the problem. Till this date I do not have a single acne on my back (except during monthly blues or a change in daily routine)!!

I have tried acne sprays and acne body wash from brands such as T3, Etude House, Himalayas Neem Wash and so many others until I found these:

Papulex Body Lotion

Papulex Body Lotion

For 125 ml that costs RM 90 it is on the pricey side but it is worth it. Only sold at Caring Pharmacy or your regular dermatologists. This has proven its efficacy. It is non photosensitizing, fragrance free and best of all paraben free.

Konjac Sponge

Konjac Sponge
This Konjac sponge beauty regime originates from the Japanese to cleanse your body and face. It is made from the root of the konjac plant and it is effective in removing sebum, dirt and blackheads. This is highly recommended for those with Acne and Sensitive skin as the texture is so soft (you can even use it on babies) so you do not need to worry it aggravating your skin.

Ever since I started using this in my shower there is no longer the need to scrub my body as this konjac sponge exfoliates my skin so effectively and gently I could feel the cleanliness after shower. I use this everday in my shower! This sponge is easily found at any Korean Beauty Stores and Sasa Stores.

Supplements

Zinc
Of course by taking care externally you will also need some TLC internally. Zinc helps to repair the skin and reduces bacterial inflammation and growth. You will need to consume this on the longer term for the incremental effect. Another supplements would be Neem which could be found at any pharmacy and Himalayas store. I used to consume Neem on a regular basis and it worked well, also, I recommended Neem to an acquaintance who suffered from bad Acnes and it help clear it out.

Oral Medication

If all else fails, you can go to your dermatologists to get a prescription on oral medication such as Accutane. I have tried those before and in 3 months time I could see that my skin had all cleared up even scars are gone. My scalp are no longer oily and my skin just glows with radiance without a trace of unwanted sebum and blemishes. That was the time when I was confident enough on not wearing any makeup.

However, there are side effects beside to the expensive costs (I used to pay RM 180 a month). My skin got dry and my lips are so dry it chapped. There are also other detrimental side effects from headache to birth deformity which neither of this happened to me, so, it is highly recommended to know what you are getting yourself into.

Masks

Secret Girl Wing Patch
I have just got this today from Watsons at only RM 6.20 so I have yet to try this out. This is the coolest thing ever! A mask sheet for your back! Korean beauty products are just so versatile and unique.

This mask is for bacnes and sunburn. It claims to be an effective product for bacnes and/or sunburn, containing aloe and cucumber extract which effectively soothe your bacne and sunburn helping to promote skin recovery.

What I like about this is that it is FREE from Triclosan, Mineral Oil, Minerals, Coloring, Flavoring (I think they meant Fragrance) and Paraben Benzophenone.

So, that is all! I hope this will be useful for you and FYI: despite free of bacnes, I do still have scars.

Top 4 'Sad Ending' Asian Dramas

I am a drama addict, no matter whether it is a Korean, Hong Kong, Taiwanese, China dramas I watch them all. Throughout the night if possible! Recently, I've just finished a 16 episode drama in one day. That sense of fulfillment and accomplishment after watching the last scene of a happy ending episode. I am not really a fan of 'sad endings', however there are a few dramas which are so good that it compensates the 'sad endings'.

This is a huge spoiler as you would know how the ending goes. Oh well, at least it prepares yout heart and mind for the worst so that you do not get your hopes up. Here are my top 4:

Lan Ling Wang

Lan Ling Wang
This is a China-Taiwanese collaboration starred by William Feng and Ariel Lin. I used to dislike Ariel Lin's dramas as it just do not appeal to me. However, this 46 episode drama is just SO GOOD, converting me into one of her fans!

This drama is based on the historical characters during the Northern Qi Dynasty which surrounds the life of a high ranking general named Gao Changgong or also known as the Prince of Lan Ling. He is said to be so beautiful that he is frequently mistaken for a woman, thus needed to wear a terrifying mask during battles. The then emperor who was his cousin was so afraid of his influence, had sent for a poisonous wine to end his life.

Knowing this historical fact, it is just not that right to cast William Feng as he does not look feminine at all (He is extremely HOT!). But, the plot line and casts did so well which allows me to forsake this aspect.

Rating: 10/10

Tree Of Heaven
Tree Of Heaven
A South Korean-Japanese collaboration drama starring Park Shin Hye and Lee Wan with only 10 episodes are sure to hook you onto the screen with a box of tissues by your side.

When Hana's mother decides to marry a Korean man, she tries her best to reach out to her odd, introverted stepbrother-to-be Yoon Seo, who likes to walk barefoot in the snow. He rebuffs her initial efforts, but her cheer eventually wins him over. With their parents on honeymoon, together Hana and Yoon Seo stand up to Hana's spiteful aunt and cousin, and the two develop an increasingly close relationship over time. Yoon Seo is forward in his love for Hana, but despite feeling the same way, she is unwilling to break the taboo of a romance between step-siblings. After graduating high school, she leaves for Tokyo with her admirer Asahi Uchida, and loses contact with Yoon Seo. Years later, Hana, Yoon Seo, and Maya meet again. Time has led them down very different roads, but the love and the rivalry remain the same. - Wikipedia

This drama portrays young unconditional love which transcends through time. This is definitely a must watch and the OST is really good too!

Ratings: 9/10

Jang Ok Jung
Jang Ok Jung
Another historical Korean drama portraying the life of Jang Hui Bin, a royal concubine during the Joseon Dynasty who became infamous for her hunger for power and ruthless plotting before she was sentenced to death.

What I loved about this drama is that it was 'realistic' in which humans are easily swayed by power and influences especially with a poor background. I loved the female lead character which comes out strong against those who bullied her and the love towards the emperor. This is not your usual 'good-weak-natured-woman-character'.

Ratings: 10/10

Empress Ki

Empress Ki
I've just realised on how much love I have for historical period dramas (LOL). Again, this drama surrounds the life of Ki Seung Nyang, a Goryeo woman who was married to a Yuan Emperor. Using her power and influence, she tried every means and ways to assist the Koryeo King to ascend the throne and gain independence from Yuan's tyranny.

This romance drama portrays a woman's wit and sacrifices for the love of her home country and her people. I adore female lead characters who are strong, independent and has wisdom. This is twist to Lan Ling Wang except that the character is an Empress.

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner Reviews

Another EH products reviews on pore targeting products that is said to provide total pore solution by:
  1. Deep cleanse pores
  2. Maintain ph 4.5 +/- 1
  3. Control a large amount of sebum
  4. Minimize appearance of pores
  5. Refine skin tones
  6. Keep the elasticity of pores
  7. Moisturize inside and outside of skin

This has been my second purchase. The first time I used this it does work in reducing my blackheads. However, after frequent usage it does not work any longer but at the same time my skin did not worsens so I supposed it only managed to keep blackhead at bay at certain level.

It costs RM 79.90 for 500 ml sized bottle which pretty economical and its bottle works like a pump nail polish remover makes it so convenient to use.

Now, on whether it works as how it is stated to be:
  1. I am not really sure about its pore cleansing power as my cotton pad looks clean after every usage and I am sure that my skin is not that clean even after cleansing (which normally dead skin cells and/or makeup residue will appear).
  2. On maintaining the ph value - we really would not know, can we?
  3. It does minimize the appearance of pores slightly.
  4. My skin tone appear brighter
  5. Keeping the elasticity of pores is on pore size so, see no.3
  6. I find this non drying like some other acne prone product and it is moisturizing
Also, another pointer that I like about this product is that it is fragrance free.

I am not sure about how everyone else uses it, but I find it really effective using it as a mask. I would soak my cotton pads (each cotton pads with 3-4 pumps) and place it all over my face. This really helps with any redness, inflammation, brightens up my complexion and moisturizes my skin well.

Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Gel Eyeliner Reviews

Kiss Me is a popular mid-range Japanese make up line and having its fans raving about it. So, here's my take on its Gel Eyeliner:

Pros
This eyeliner lasts a long time on your eyelids and it is highly waterproof.
It is also highly pigmented – blackest black and comes along with an eyeliner brush.
It dries fast on your lids upon application.

Cons
Despite the long lasting aspect of the eyeliner and its proclamation to be smudge proof, I with oily eyelids did not find this to be entirely true. Hours after application, I can see smudging to my upper eyelids (I guess monolids will not have this problem) and my lower lash line giving me that panda effect!
It is pretty pricey as compared to other drugstore brands which costs RM 54.90.
Also, the given eyeliner brush is lousy. It makes it hard to draw a thin and even eye line.

Conclusion
Smudge proof aspect is my main priority when it comes to eyeliner, so I will not repurchase this. However, those with non-oily skin condition, this eyeliner will do good for you.

Mascara Swatches - Elite Paris Mascara vs Maybelline Mascara

2 mascaras are up for reviews today which are the Elite Paris Slim Mascara and Maybelline The Magnum Volum' Express Mascara.

LEFT: Elite Paris Slim Mascara; RIGHT: Maybelline The Magnum Volum' Express Mascara.
Elite Paris Slim Mascara  proclaims to endlessly stretched lashes, contain ultra-lengthening fibers and a shaped length brush. For me, it is reasonably priced with less than RM 30. It also lasts all day long with a very natural, lightweight and clump free.

However, its ultra lengthening fibers tend to fall out during the day on my upper cheek area making me wary about it and always on the look out. It is also not waterproof and tend to smudge slightly and does not hold curls very well.

This is not for those who want a false lashes effect. Thus, I am not repurchasing it.

Maybelline The Magnum Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara proclaims to give volume and cat eyes look due to its new cat eyes brush. It is extremely waterproof and high staying power, smudge proof, voluminous and strong curling power (provided eyelashes are curled prior to application). It is also reasonable for about RM 28. I loved the curved mascara wand which gives an ease application.

However, once opened, the mascara will tend to get thicker and more clumpy by the day. I would need to wipe my mascara wand with a tissue prior to application. This disadvantage is the greatest BOO-HOO I have encountered.

Despite that, this mascara is really worth the try and have been loving it!

Majolica Majorca Honey Plump Lip Gloss Neo Review

Left: RD 441; Right: PK 246

A clear tinted moisturizing lip gloss from MM. For a tube of 6.5 grams you could get this for about RM 20 at your nearby drugstore.

Here, I have 2 shades which are the RD 441 Pinkish Red and PK 246 Nude Pink with Glitter
This lip gloss is extremely moisturizing and have a honey like texture which I love! Also, this is for those who wants a very sheer lip gloss but a nice finish, which is great for day-look.
It gives an extremely nice finish especially PK 246 (with glitter). This is definitely my favorite lip gloss of all time!

There isn't anything that I dislike. This is a lip gloss that I highly recommend for those who are looking for a sheer tinted lip gloss.

Garage 51

As a Sunway University student, Garage 51 is a place that you have got to try at least once (right behind the campus). So, here is my take on the well-known coffee place to-go-to.

Left: Maria Palova Mash Potato with Chicken Ham Cheese Mushroom; Right: Red Velvet

So, apparently when you are there it will be wise for you to order coffee right? But, we went there during the water rationing season so no coffee is being produced. I was like, a coffee shop with no coffee on  the menu. Hmm, they should stock up on water or something instead.

Oh well,
The brunch meal was disappointing. The brown round patty lookalike is no fried chicken but it is hashbrown instead. I do not like it as the flour coating/dough tasted like eating KFC with hashbrown inside and it is pretty salty. Blek!

The red velvet was jusk OK, a little on the dry side though. With my disappointed face, my friend told me that they are popular for their coffee so might not be hyped for their food. Well, maybe. I need to go another round and order their coffee this time for redemption.

Revlon PhotoReady Concealer

Revlon's concealer would be the Holy Grail drug store brand concealer and after the required cost analysis it costs the same as Clinique's liquid concealer. Clinique's costs about rm82 with 2 times the size compared to Revlon which costs about RM42 (what I am trying to say is that it is not cheap but I don't know how good is Clinique's).

Liquid and Stick Concealer

It comes in 2 types which are the liquid and stick concealer. It is said to stay in place for 24 hours.
There are only 3 shades and my shade would be no.3 the lightest shade. It is called PhotoReady as it contain light reflecting particles, thus great for pictures as it has highlighting effect as well.

This concealer is very long lasting, blends in well with a good coverage and does not transfer to your phone/clothes despite my oily skin.

There might be a better concealing power concealer brands out there but this is great for covering acne scars and pimples (not too big) or a sheer highlight effect. This is one concealer that I do not have any complains so got get it now at Aeon Wellness to enjoy 10% promotion.

Etude House Blusher Reviews

*jeng jeng jeng jeng* My first beauty review! YAY!

I own a lot of Etude House(EH) products due to their frequent BUY 1 FREE 1. I would always wait for that promotion. Even if there are other sales (except for buy 1 free 1) I will not budge. Yes, thats right! Persevere like that! But inside I am like OMG OMG I want that!

Today will be on 2 different types of blusher, which is: the cream type and the powder blusher

Left: lovely cookie blusher - #6 grapefruit jelly; right: sweet recipe cupcake all over colour in OR202 Peach sugar cake
Lovely Cookie Blusher
Shade #6 Grapefruit Jelly is the bestseller shade and I loved the colour. It is so subtle and light enough for natural look, perfect for everday wear and when you pair it up with bright lip colour. The sponge applicator is round and its great to achieve that dolly/gyaru look as you just pat it onto the apples.

But, I do not use the applicator is because the tiny pink ribbon on top makes it so hard to get a good grip. They should made it in a way that I can put my finger in for easy application. Also, kawaii/gyaru look is not my style, so I use a brush instead.

Also, it might because I have oily skin, the staying power is not very long for only bout 2 hours or so. Those with drier skin might not have this problem though.

TIP: I use the cream blusher to highlight my cheekbones before applying the powder blusher for the extra pop of colour, highlight effect and longer lasting.

I would repurchase because I love the shade and only if I could not get any better ones.

Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Colour
I chose a peach shade as I already have pink blusher, to get a variety. This cream blusher is called ALL OVER COLOUR as it enables usage on the cheeks, lips and eyes. It has scents of peach which is smells pretty natural rather than those artificial scent. However, if you are like me, you might not favour scents on products.

Unfortunately, it is not that pigmented as I thought it would be but it is good enough for that light tint effect. I love using it on my eyelids as a primer or base colour but not on my lips. It does not have any moisturizing effect and in no way suitable for my chappy lips. And after application on my lips, it will oxidize leading to a pale/ slight greyish, chappy layer on my lips which is not favorable at all.

Just PROMISE me not to apply on your lips! Please!

However, I do like it as a base colour on my eyes and cheeks before applying eyeshadows and powder blush. But not quite enough for me to repurchase.

My nude look for the day with pale lips.
Loving this simple skater dress!

Caffe Bene

Finally, I managed to get a seat at the popular Korean coffee chain - Caffe Bene at Sunway Pyramid. The long queue always discouraged me to dine at their place. But, yet I decided to line up and await my turn.

The coffee shop was small and pretty confined, making me less comfortable especially with the tight space filled with customers bringing in baby prams (hard to move around). OMG. This is definitely not the place for you to take your own time and getting your work done (unless you do not mind the long queue of people eyeing for your seats)

Affogatto, Latte, Choco Nut Waffle
I know that the popular food on the menu is the ice bingsu, but I did not try that - just do not feel like it. Instead I got the choco nut waffle for about rm 14.50 and it was pretty disappointing I would say. The waffle is topped with a mixed of nuts (cashew, walnuts, almond, hazelnut) and drizzled with chocolate sauce. However, the waffle is pretty dry and the choco sauce is just not enough. With me and a friend who has a sweet tooth and waffles lover, we decided not to order this AGAIN!

The Affogatto, I would say is not the best I have tasted but the espresso is really GOOD and the vanilla ice cream has milky taste which I do not favour as I do not like milk. It costs about rm 13

The latte for about RM 12 was GOOD as I love having thick, smooth, creamy foam with my latte and Caffe Bene did not disappoint. Despite the usual price for a cup of latte, over here they serve with a bigger mug compared to other coffee shops, so Regular is way enough.

When I was there, they were having surveys for customers on their upcoming launch pre-mixed coffee. We got to try their coffee too and was given a free americano sample. I heard that the coffee is from Costa Rica beans which I can't wait to try especially after tasting their espresso.

Would I go again? Meh! Only if my friend wants to.

Coffee Stain by Joseph

Situated at Publika, this is a small cafe with a decent ambience.

Bottom Left: Latte; Right: Cold Brew - RM 16.90
The coffee here is more expensive from what I used to in other places. I usually pay RM 10 for cold brew and RM10 for single origin coffee in which at Coffee Stain costs at least RM 25 (well, maybe they have better/more premium coffee beans).
The cold brew is better than WHISK and the latte is at the bitter end.

However, this is not a coffee shop that I would want to go to again as the service is BAD. On a weekend afternoon, they only have one working barista and it took 30mins for my order to arrive (despite being reminded twice). Also, it took a while to get the waiters attention to present us with their menu as they are just not easily spotted and overlooked us.

Thus, this is a bad experience for me. As I give equal importance to not only the food served but also on service.

Branch: Publika

The Red Beanbag

With The Red Beanbag widely acclaimed by foodies out there, this is a place for me to try it out on my own.

Bottom Left: Sunshine Soba; Right: The Atlantic

Despite being well known for their coffee, I did not try them as the choices are pretty limited thus none interest me.

However, their food was really good. The sunshine soba is served chilled with buckwheat soba and avacado, mangos, and herbs. It tasted amazing and I loved it! It is filled with flavour and aromas that is making me wanting more.

For the atlantic, it is served with soft french toast, smoke salmons, spinach and poached eggs. This makes a really good breakfast/brunch.

To bear in mind that you will need to wait for at least 30 mins as the cafe is always jam-packed.

Namoo Korean Dessert Cafe

With one of their branches situated in Publika, Namoo means tree in Korean incorporates coffee lifestyle with korean food. Their cafe has a nice ambience with korean songs radio-ed in the cafe.
This place is definitely a must-go-to for avid coffee lovers and Kpop addict.

I have tried their Korean Black Coffee before and it was not bad, slightly different than what we used to have. The food was really good and I am not someone who are easily pleased by just good ambience.

Salted Ice Cream Caramel Popcorn Bingsoo RM 18.90

Korean Spicy Tteok Bok Ki - RM 14.90

Milky Hwa Che Ice - price n/a

Bibimbap - RM 17.90

Overall, this is the best cafe/restaurant so far. I loved the popcorn bingsoo so much! Great combination of salted caramel, rice cakes, vanilla ice cream, nuts and popcorns. Also, it is too huge to be eaten on your own thus sharing is needed.

The Milky Hwa Che Ice is a fruit punch drink. I expected it to taste like makgeolli and that is why i ordered, for my love towards makgeolli but instead it tasted like not-properly-done fermented rice wine with artificial strawberry flavoring. Well, it might just be my personal preference as my friend liked it and he finished the drink.

Tteok Bok Ki is by far one of my fave korean street food and  this is the first time I have tasted it with baked cheese. It was a pretty good combination actually and the plate was slate-clean by everyone on  the table.

Salon Du Chocolat

My friends and I went on a foodie trip at Publika and we enjoyed it! So, I would have extra posts on cafe/restaurants at Publika.

We went to Salon Du Chocolat for dessert and it is a pretty small place, we have to wait for our turns.

Pancakes with 3 types of chocolate
We only ordered one of the menu and this was AMAZEBALLS, being way better than and slightly cheaper than DipNdip.
This costs RM 12.50 with 3 layers of pancakes.
The dining ambience is nice with a Turkish concept, so something different.

This is a chocolate salon which you ought to try, thus try going on a non peak hours instead to avoid the queue.

Flourless Banana Pancake

First of all, I am not a good cook! So, cooking to me has to be effortless, fast, easy and good.

I learned this recipe through Bubzbeauty's Vlog on Youtube and have been eating this for breakfast ever since.

You are gonna need:
1. An egg
2. A banana

How to:
Firstly, mashed one banana along with one beaten egg.

t

Then, cook it in a hot pan.
AND UR DONE!!
It is so easy to make and taste good (im not even a banana person).
PS: The bigger your banana is, the softer your pancake will be.

Happy trying and good luck!

Coffee Ink

In Klang area, it is hard to find for a good coffee shop like those offered in Klang Valley areas until the existence of Coffee Ink. Founded by 2 young guys (if I am not mistaken) Coffee Ink is in town, Bukit Tinggi opposite Aeon Bukit Tinggi.

Getting There:
The area made it very accessible as it is easily spotted especially those who are not from around here. Those from KL areas, could use the Kesas Highway and drive towards Bandar Botanic or Bukit Tinggi. Once the highway ended, Aeon Bukit Tinggi will be on your left and Coffee Ink is along the row of shops upstairs on the right.

Above: Latte; Below: Hot Chocolate; Right: Chocolate Crepe

Above: Peanut Butter and Blueberry Crepe; Below: Hazelnut Latte

Their coffee are more to the stronger and bitter side, thus might not be favoured by light coffee drinkers. However, you could go for Hot Chocolate and/or flavoured coffee with Belgian Hot Chocolate as their signature chocolate drink

Their Latte however, was not great as I have tasted better. It might be due to personal preference as I prefer my latte with a thicker and creamy/smooth foam which is not quite the case here at Coffee Ink. However, their flavoured lattes tasted pretty good as it was adequately flavoured with rich tasty syrup (and also according to the barista who makes it).

I love chocolate flavoured desserts and it is what I usually opt for. While expecting for a creamy rich flavour from the Chocolate Crepes, it however did not turn that way. But, the Peanut Butter and Blueberry Crepes is one of the best I have ever tasted! It just so filled with the right flavours and richness in your mouth and the combo of peanut butter and blueberry is like peanut butter and jelly. Its AMAZEBALLS!

Coffee Ink however, only serves coffee and crepes until now which has an addition of 'Breakfast for Dinner' from 6PM to 9PM.

An Indian Wedding

Last April was my first experience in witnessing the holy matrimony of an Indian-Hindu wedding. I was on the groom's side (my BBF's brother) and I was proud attending the wedding as the bridesmaid's VVIP, hahaha.

It was a really simple wedding at a school hall, where we all gathered at the fixed time. First, there would be the ceremony where the bride and the groom would be seated on the stage with their respective families in front of the holy fire.
They then exit the hall and entered again twice (which I was quite surprised that they did not go around the fire as how it was done in Bollywood movies). After, blessings given from both sides of family members, the groom finally put on the thali on the bride's neck which officially made her his wife. Right after, dinner is served and once you are full enough you may leave. hahaha

I was so clueless as what was going on as the emcee was speaking in Tamil and my friend translated the entire night on what went on.

Left: Myself; Right: Bridesmaid aka BFF

I donned a blue saree which I was complimented by so many present on how beautiful I looked (laughs!). Also, the bridesmaid looks ever-so-glamourous with her beautiful red-gold saree!

Coffea Coffee

First of all, I am a coffee-lover! I just love the combination of having of chocolates and coffee, it is just heavenly. Pretty similar to having bak gua and beer during CNY.

So, this is officially my first coffee posts and I have lots in store!

Caffe Latte - Maestro (RM 11)

Caffe Latte, Hazelnut/Caramel Latte, Long Black and Americano are my go to and I have got to admit that the Caffe Latte at Coffea Coffee is pretty good actually. It has thick and smooth foam and rich/ strong flavoured coffee.

Maestro as taken from Coffea Coffee, is a method of pre-blending  and post-roasting to express complex taste such as sweetness like chocolate, medium acidity like dried fruits and full-bodied.
Which in my opinion, a stronger taste.

Whereas for Madona (the exact definition is not available), is more aromatic and sweet.

Single Origin Sumatra Mandheling and Costa Rica Tarrazu with Chocolate Chip Muffins
Coffea Coffee is one of limited coffee shops that offers coffee beans from various geographical areas. There just so many to choose from and I love the options given such as (besides the 2 given above):
1. Ethiopia Ilmu G2
2. Ethiopia Sidamo G4
3. Kenya AA
4. Brazil Cerrado
5. Columbia Supremo
6. Guatemela Antigua

Some of you might ask what is single origin? -
"Single-origin coffee is coffee grown within a single known geographical origin. Sometimes this is a single farm,[1] or a specific collection of beans from a single country.[2] The name of the coffee is then usually the place it was grown to whatever degree available. Single-origins are viewed by some as a way to get a specific taste, and some independent coffee shops have found that this gives them a way to add value over large chains.[3], " - wikipedia.

Now, back to the review, Sumatra Mandheling is by far my favourite. Its flavour is distinctly different than any other, which is hard to explain till you try it out yourself. Whereas, the Costa Rica Tarazu is on the stronger side, leaving an after-taste finish. This is great for those who wants an extra boost to wake them up in the morning.

The chocolate chip muffin is moist, chocolatey and rich in flavour and goes very well with black coffee as the muffin is sweet enough.
